PAUL EVORA, MS, PT, Cert. MDT. Paul graduated with a Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, NY in 1996. Since graduation, Paul has worked in a variety of rehab settings as well as cities. He has accumulated experience in inpatient rehab from the Mercy Community Hospital system in Philadelphia, PA, acute care rehab from the Rusk Institute at NYU Hospital, and outpatient orthopedics and neurology from the JC VA Hospital in St. Louis, MO and WestSide Sports, P.T., P.C. in NY. Prior to entering the realm of private practice ownership, Paul worked for three years at the New York Presbyterian Health Center @ Chelsea Piers, working primarily with athletes of all ages. He is also an adjunct professor at the NYU School of Nursing and has provided guest lectures in orthopedics to acupuncture students at Mercy College, NY. Paul has been certified in the McKenzie Method of assessment and treatment of pain of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar origins since 2005. IRENE WEISBERG, Office Manager. Irene’s career has been diverse and eclectic reflecting her multi-faceted interests, talents and personality. After attending Bennington College and Hofstra University, 20 years were spent in the commercial music industry as a Principal, Sales Rep and Producer. Subsequently, as an FIT trained fashion designer/patternmaker, she founded Doedelzak Ltd., a boutique childrenswear company. In 1995 she turned to the world of advertising/marketing holding various creative and production managerial positions. She was a member of the Bill Bradley Creative Team at the time of his aborted Presidential bid. She has broken and trained horses, professionally restored antique American quilts, created and sold contemporary quilts, sailed, danced professionally, hiked, biked and is a working artist. CHRISTIAN KUNZ, PT, MS. Born on the West Coast and raised in Germany, Chris moved to New York to pursue a career in the performing arts. He entered the Health Professions as a Massage Therapist and became a Physical Therapist after graduating from Hunter College in New York. Chris has spent most of his career in outpatient orthopedic settings, including seven years leading the Physical Therapy Department at the NYU Student Health Center. He has advanced skills in manual therapy, functional retraining and is a TRX Suspension Training Qualified and Rocktape Certified Provider. Chris believes in order to achieve return to maximum function, there has to be a partnership between the patient and the provider. In his treatments, he utilizes manual therapy techniques and functional retraining with a strong focus on posture and biomechanics to facilitate ease and efficiency of movement. ROBERT J. FLUEGEL, PT, OCS, COMT: Rob has been a New York State licensed Physical Therapist for the past 17 years.  He has experience treating a vast array of patients with orthopaedic and sports conditions. He has been a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT) since 2003 and a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) since 2004. Since 2003, he has taught courses in the Maitland Approach to Manual Physical Therapy to practicing Physical Therapists throughout the country. He was the Head Physical Therapist for the US Freestyle Ski Team for the 2011-2012 World Cup Season. Today, he remains on the Rotational Medical Pool for various disciplines for the United States Ski & Snowboard Association. FABRICIO RODRIGUES, PT, PhD, CMS Originally from Brazil, Fabricio graduated as a PT in Rio de Janeiro in 2002 and earned his PhD in physiology in 2005. While in Brazil he taught anatomy, physiology, research and cardiac rehabilitation as a guest lecturer for 5 years while working at an outpatient cardiac rehab center. He moved to NY in 2007 where he has worked in various orthopedic and sport medicine offices. Fabricio specializes in the use of manual therapy and functional exercises in the prevention and treatment of orthopedic injuries and to help amateur athletes to perform their best. JOSE PHILIPE SETTON, MS, PT Philipe comes to Bounce Back with a great deal of personal background experience in sports and orthopedics. Prior to his career in physical therapy, Philipe was a professional soccer player in Brazil. He played for the Brazilian National Indoor soccer league from to 2003-2005. Having experienced firsthand injuries from his soccer play, Philipe sought a career in rehabilitative medicine. He graduated in 2006 with a Master's degree in physical therapy from the Instituto Brasileiro de Medicina de Reabilitacao, Brazil. Not satisfied with just a Master's degree, in 2013, Philipe graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science. He later achieved the specialist title of a Sports Physical Therapist, also in 2013. Philipe is also trained in the Alexander technique, Kinesio and functional taping, Neural mobilization, and the Pilates Method. During his varied career as a physical therapist, Philipe has worked with children and adults in primarily outpatient orthopedic settings. His adult patients have ranged from athletes of all levels (including mixed martial artists and of course soccer players) to geriatric clients with deficits in balance and basic mobility.
