Fabricio Rodrigues, PT, PhD

Physical Therapist / Owner

Originally from Brazil, Fabricio graduated as a PT in Rio de Janeiro in 2002 and earned his PhD in physiology in 2005. While in Brazil he taught anatomy, physiology, research and cardiac rehabilitation as a guest lecturer for 5 years while working at an outpatient cardiac rehab center.

He moved to NY in 2007 where he has worked in various orthopedic and sport medicine offices. Fabricio specializes in the use of manual therapy and functional exercises in the prevention and treatment of orthopedic injuries and to help amateur athletes to perform their best. His hobbies include photography, weight lifting, reading and traveling. In 2016 Fabricio joined the Bounce Back Physical Therapy family and became its owner in 2017.

Robert J. Fluegel, PT, OCS, COMT

Physical Therapist

Rob has been a New York State licensed Physical Therapist for over 25 years. He has experience treating a vast array of patients with orthopaedic and sports conditions. He has been a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT) since 2003 and a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) since 2004.

Since 2003, he has taught courses in the Maitland Approach to Manual Physical Therapy to practicing Physical Therapists throughout the country. He was the Head Physical Therapist for the US Freestyle Ski Team for the 2011-2012 World Cup Season.

Today, he remains on the Rotational Medical Pool for various disciplines for the United States Ski & Snowboard Association. He also serves as a consultant to the German and Sweden/Norway Freestyle Ski Teams. Rob can be reached at robfluegelpt@gmail.com.

Ahmed Soliman, PT, DPT.

Physical Therapist

Ahmed earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Therapy and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, which he obtained in 2014 from the Dominican University of New York (DUNY) in Orangeburg, New York.

With almost 2 decades of experience in Sports Rehab and General Orthopedics Dr Soliman has worked with athletes in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, boxing, and gymnastics, both nationally and internationally. He started working at Gold's Gym Egypt (Nile branch) and served as an assistant to the doctor of the Zamalek soccer team, the most titled club in Africa. He was also the assigned physical therapist for Egypt's National Gymnastic team in the 9th African tournament.

Ahmed moved to the United States 2010 and has since worked in multiple sports rehab facilities, providing treatment to top-ranked athletes in multiple sports as well as the general population with spine and joint problems.

During his free time, Dr. Soliman enjoys photography, cooking, working out, and traveling to gain a deeper understanding of different cultures and communities. Additionally, he immerses himself in the pages of history books and literature novels through reading and exploration.

Jillian Lye, PT, DPT, Cert-CMFA

Physical Therapist

Jillian is a CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting enthusiast who happens to be a Physical Therapist. Jillian was born and raised in Singapore, and graduated from Curtin University in Western Australia in 2015. In 2017, she moved to NYC where she completed her transitional Doctorate (Physical Therapy) and worked in a variety of settings such as inpatient orthopedics and geriatrics, pediatrics and outpatient orthopedics/sports.

Jillian believes in building resilient humans through good mobility, biomechanics, and strength through any age of life. She is a Certified CMFA (Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete), which incorporates strength. conditional and load management principles tailored to individuals with chronic pain, recreational or barbell athletes and older adults with joint pain.

In her free time, Jillian loves spending time with her husband and canine son Bruce. She also loves experiencing new cultures, wildlife and nature through travelling.

Irene Weisberg

Front Desk

Irene’s career has been diverse and eclectic reflecting her multi-faceted interests, talents and personality. After attending Bennington College and Hofstra University, 20 years were spent in the commercial music industry as a Principal, Sales Rep and Producer.

Subsequently, as an FIT trained fashion designer/patternmaker, she founded Doedelzak Ltd., a boutique childrenswear company. In 1995 she turned to the world of advertising/marketing holding various creative and production managerial positions. She was a member of the Bill Bradley Creative Team at the time of his aborted Presidential bid.

She has broken and trained horses, professionally restored antique American quilts, created and sold contemporary quilts, sailed, danced professionally, hiked, biked and is a working artist. Since joining Bounce Back Physical Therapy in 2007 as their office manager, Irene has become their resident Insurance Guru.

Norma Lopez

Graduated from Borough Manhattan Community College in 2018 with her associate degree in liberal arts, Norma has various customer service experience and working as a receptionist.

She serves the role of handling all front desk responsibilities such as greeting patients, answering any questions or concerns and any other miscellaneous administrative tasks. Apart from working in customer service, she also has minor experience in managing social media and web design.

While at Bounce Back, she has rediscovered her passion to work in the health field and now plans on continuing her studies to become a registered nurse.

William Swan

William (Bill) Swan has had a diverse career since graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Art History. After graduation he served as an assistant to the late dance photographer, Barbara Morgan, followed in succession as an Assistant Editor of photography books, Staff Photographer at the New York Botanical Garden and photography instructor at Mary Mount College, Tarrytown, NY.

He then pursued his interest in fitness and sports as Fitness Director at the Club at Montrose (now Premier Athletic Club) and Head Coach, West Point Swim Club. Bill has held certification as a USA Swim Coach, USA Cycling Coach and USA Weightlifting Coach. Renewing his interest in the arts, he joined the Admissions Office at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn and retired as Director of Admissions. His interests have included hiking, backpacking, rock and ice climbing, Nordic skiing, running, and cycling.
